Peter Herold Founder & Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Peter opened Cornerstone in February 2011. After graduating in Leipzig, Germany in 1996 Peter has worked exclusively with small animals for over ten years and has gained extensive experience in all aspects of small animal treatments. Peter has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery and neurology.

Agne Veterinary Surgeon

Agne qualified as a veterinary surgeon in Lithuania in 2010 then moved to Northern Ireland to continue her career. She joined Cornerstone in 2011. Agne is particularly interested in Internal Medicine. She is currently studying towards her degree in Small Animal Medicine. Agne has a love for all animals, particularly dogs and primates.

Karen Head Nurse

Karen has always had a love of animals from a young age. She has 4 horses and a dog. She previously worked with dogs for 10 years in a private boarding kennel before coming to join the Cornerstone team in 2011. She is now studying at Greenmount college to become a qualified veterinary nurse.

Saoirse Animal Care Assistant

Saoirse joined Cornerstone in 2012. She studied Animal management from 2009–11 and is planning to go on and study for the animal nursing assistant course.

Saoirse’s friendly approach to clients and patients makes her a valuable member of our team.

Courtney Animal Care Assistant

Courtney joined the Cornerstone team this year in 2013. Having just left school she knew she would love to work with animals and has a specific affection for felines.

Courtney is planning to study an animal management course in the near future.
